Looking for something to do in Toronto this month? We’ve rounded up six things to do around the city this February.

Evergreen’s Winter Fridays 

Where: Evergreen Brick Works 550 Bayview Ave

Price: Free

When: January 3rd – February 14th | Fridays 5:30 – 9:30pm

What: You still have two more Fridays to get out to Evergreen Brick Works for an evening of skating, campfires, food trucks, warm drinks, and music. This could be a perfect family outing or date night with your valentine. Skate rentals are available onsite for $5.

The Toronto Light Festival

Where: The Distillery District

Price: Free

When: January 17th – March 31st | Sun – Wed 6:00 – 9:00pm & Thurs – Sat 6:00 – 10:00pm

What: The city’s largest light art festival with contributions from light artists from Toronto and around the world. Spend an evening walking through the Distillery District, taking in the spectacular installations and stop for something to eat at Cluny Bistro or one of the other amazing restaurants nearby.

Winterlicious 

Where: Restaurants throughout the city

Price: $23 – $53 per person

When: January 31st – February 13th

What: To anyone who’s been following us for a bit, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that something food-related made this month’s list. A Toronto-wide food festival hosted by 220 restaurants throughout the city. Take the opportunity to try something new or return to an old favourite. Reservations have already been open for a couple weeks, so make sure to book soon!

Intrigue at the AGO Scavenger Hunt 

Where: Art Gallery of Ontario 317 Dundas Street West

Price: $45 per person

When: February 8th – March 28th | Sat 1:00pm

What: Take the family out any Saturday this month to uncover a series of clues hidden throughout the AGO and solve the mystery behind Roy Thompson’s death. This hunt is designed to be tricky and is better suited to adults and teenagers.

Winter stations

Where: Woodbine Beach

Price: Free

When: February 17th – March 31st

What: A public art installation in the Beaches featuring the work of designers and artists from around the world. The international design competition is now in its sixth year. This year’s theme is “Beyond the Five Senses” and it’s sure to impress. Make an afternoon of it. Start at Ashbridges Bay and make your way along the boardwalk to Balmy Beach before heading up to Queen Street East to warm up with something hot to drink.

DJ Skate Night at Nathan Phillips Square 

Where: Nathan Phillips Square 100 Queen Street West

Price: Free

When: January 17th – March 22nd | Fri & Sat 7:00 – 10:00pm

What: Skate the square every Friday and Saturday evening this month while listening to great music. Skate rentals are available onsite for $10.
