Toronto’s cherry trees are blossoming, gathering large crowds throughout the city for the 60th year in a row.
There’s no better place to see these flowers than in High Park, which is home to hundreds of the 2000 cherry trees gifted from the Japanese ambassador to Toronto on behalf of the people of Tokyo 60 years ago.
This long weekend seems opportune to visit these flowers if you haven’t done so already. However, if you’re wanting to avoid the large crowds of people at High Park, you can always try these different areas in Toronto that will surely give you Instagram-worthy shots!
The city created a map to help people find the other 14 other spots around the GTA, from Etobicoke, up to York University, and over to Scarborough.
